3. Welche Daten wir erheben

a) Wenn Sie einen Termin buchen

PflichtName, E-Mail-Adresse

Unser Hoster protokolliert technisch notwendige Zugriffsdaten (IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, aufgerufene Adresse, Browsertyp).

IONOS SEVersand unserer E-Mails (Deutschland)

5. Wie lange wir speichern

Privacy policy

For the booking page book.akibon.studio (formerly termin.akibon.studio, still reachable) — last updated 13 September 2026

1. Controller

CompanyAkibon Studio LLC (Limited Liability Company, State of Florida, USA)
Address7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, USA
Represented byTyrone Bernard, Managing Member
Emailteam@akibon.studio

No data protection officer has been appointed; for an operation of this size that is generally not required.

The company is based outside the EU and works internationally. The GDPR nevertheless applies to visitors from the European Union, because this service is also aimed at them (Art. 3(2) GDPR).

2. This page sets no cookies

The booking page stores nothing on your device: no cookies, no local storage, no tracking pixels, no analytics, no ad networks. That is why you see no consent banner — there is simply nothing to consent to.

The typefaces are served from our own server as well. No connection to Google is made and your IP address is not transmitted there.

3. What we collect

a) When you book an appointment

Requiredname, email address
Optionalcompany, WhatsApp number, Instagram handle, your note about the project
Automaticyour time zone and language (so the time and the confirmation are correct), date and time of the booking

Purpose: to arrange the appointment, send you a confirmation with a calendar entry, remind you, and hold the call.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.

You may leave the optional fields blank. The appointment goes ahead either way.

b) When you merely open the page

Our host logs technically necessary access data (IP address, time, requested address, browser type) to keep the service running and to fend off attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in secure operation.

4. Who else sees the data

We do not pass your data on, do not sell it and do not use it for advertising. These providers are technically necessary and act as processors on our behalf:

Vercel Inc.running the website (USA)
Supabasestoring the appointment data — servers in Canada, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of protection
IONOS SEsending our emails (Germany)
Google Ireland Ltd.only if you trigger it yourself: the “Add to calendar” button opens Google Calendar. Only with that click does appointment data leave our systems. The alternative — the attached .ics file — works without Google.

For transfers to the USA we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR).

An informal email to team@akibon.studio is enough. We reply within one month. You can also cancel an appointment yourself at any time using the link in your confirmation email — no account, no reason needed.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, normally the one where you live.

7. Representative in the European Union

Still to be clarified — Article 27 GDPR generally requires controllers outside the EU to designate a representative in the Union in writing. The exemption applies to occasional processing that involves no special categories of data and poses no risk to data subjects. Whether our appointment booking falls under it should be decided by a lawyer, not by us.

8. Security

The page is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the appointment data is limited to Akibon Studio and enforced by rules inside the database — not merely hidden in the interface.
